Prepare for your CTU Online Experience
Upon enrollment, a Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Team Member will begin gathering all necessary documentation needed to conduct a complete review of your previous academic, military and civilian work experience for potential credit towards your CTU Online degree program. PLA will also offer options to test out of coursework as an alternative to completing specific courses that may be part of your schedule. CTU Online uses the ACE Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services as the basis for evaluating military training and experience.
As your Military Admissions Advisor informed you during the admissions process, they will follow up with you several times a week to assist you with various steps of preparation to ensure your success as a student. There are clubs and activities as well as events like Open House and Orientation.
Your Military Admissions Advisor may also assign various labs or activities from the Learning Center on the Virtual Campus based on your previous conversations and the Self Assessment during the application process.
