So You Want To Start A Business: The Good, The Bad, and the Helpful Entrepreneurship Conference | August 6, 2009, 6:00 – 8:00 PM | CTU Sioux Falls
Current CTU students, alumni, and the public at-large are invited to attend this conference that will focus on how to launch a successful business. The conference will feature a keynote speaker, along with various local entrepreneurs and business development officials in a two panel format. The event is free; however, space is limited. Optimal Resume training: “Build Your Resume Online” Career Services Workshop/Webinar | Tuesday, September 1, 5:00 pm CST CTU Career Services will host the first workshop of the Q3, 0903B Session on Tuesday, September 1st . Becki Strader Regional Client Support Manager at Optimal Resume will co-present with Gail McGaughey Career Services Coordinator. This training will provide you with a great starting point if you have never written a resume before and would like some step-by-step help. However, this is also beneficial for the experienced professional who is targeting a specific career or employment objective. The Resume Module is easy to use and provides comprehensive resume instructions, section-by-section examples, and thousands of resume samples and resume styles from which to choose. Then, elevate your networking efforts with an attractive resume website or video resume that highlights key professional achievements online. Finally, upload your Resume into the ResumeGPS program which enables employers to find your resume and contact you with employment opportunities.
